Father says: “Guard the mantle of your ministry in this season, ensuring that nothing entrusted to you is lost, contaminated, stolen or carelessly released into the hands of the enemy.”
Getting Lost & Contaminated
1 Kings 11:4-9, “For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God, as was the heart of David his father.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. And Solomon did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and went not fully after Jehovah, as did David his father.
Then did Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, in the mount that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the children of Ammon. And so did he for all his foreign wives, who burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.”
Be careful of following other gods. Solomon was a king who had been taught well the way of our Father and lost his way.
He was of a ripe old age, full of wisdom and full of truth AND WAS STILL LED ASTRAY. He married into relationship with people who worshipped idols. Instead of holding on to the truth, he entered into great compromise and LOST his ministry.
He was one who gained worldly pleasure and lost His soul.
In this season, make sure that your DESIRES for your life line up with those of the Lord. Ensure that your relationships are GODLY. Many will fall pray to the subtleties of sin in this season.
Don’t allow what has been entrusted to you to be lost or contaminated. (Check out the article, “I am a prophet also.)
Having Things Stolen & Being Careless
1 Kings 13:19-25 ASB, “So he went back with him, and ate bread in his house and drank water. Now it came about, as they were sitting down at the table, that the word of the LORD came to the prophet who had brought him back. And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD, ‘Because you have disobeyed the command of the LORD, and have not observed the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you, but have returned and eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which He said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water “; your body shall not come to the grave of your fathers.’ ”
It came about after he had eaten bread and after he had drunk, that he saddled the donkey for him, for the prophet whom he had brought back. Now when he had gone, a lion met him on the way and killed him, and his body was thrown on the road, with the donkey standing beside it; the lion also was standing beside the body.”
This young prophet had moved mightily under the instruction and the hand of God. But just minutes after being used, he moved into a place of disobedience.
Listen To God Over Man
Within a matter of hours, he went from walking in the will of God to losing his life. Hearing God in this season is imperative. While we may not lose our physical lives, many are walking around spiritually dead unaware.
They are grasping for a “moment in time, destinies” that have already been lost. Father is calling you, scribes of the King, to a place of total obedience. We can no longer operate under a false understanding of grace or mercy.
Father is saying, “Guard the mantle that is upon your ministry.”
Wisdom is saying, “It is not always the enemy without that we must guard ourselves against, but our own motives and secret intents.”
It is my prayer that you take this warning before God, allowing Holy Spirit to help you rightly access where you are in your walk with the Lord — not just concerning your projects, but how you’re living before Him. People operate in the gifts daily — void of Christ’s anointing (which is the manifested power of God).
I pray that you walk in the name of the Book that was written for you (Psalm 139:1). I am convinced that every good work that HE began in you will be completed (Phil 1:6).
