INSIGHT BEFORE THE WORD OF THE LORD:
This morning, I was praying for this NING & VOC when the Lord said this to me: "There are questions before me from a number of my worshipers. They come to me, crying out to HEAR me clearly. They come to me, wanting to complete their books and other assignments that seem to be on pause or stagnant; and they want to know how to breakthrough. Beloved, tell them that I hear them. Beloved, tell them that I have answered, but they have not heard me. Tell them that I can't move in the midst of confusion and clutter. Tell them that I will not compete with other voices and the idols of this world."
Proverbs 8:17 CJB says, " I love those who love me; and those who seek me will find me."
Colossians 1:14-16 CJB says, "It is through his Son that we have redemption – that is, our sins have been forgiven. 15He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation,16because in connection with him were created all things – in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities – they have all been created through him and for him."
These scriptures resounded in my heart. More than anything, I had this overwhelming sense about that the Lord wanted QUALITY TIME with those He was addressing in this message. Instead, His beloved were giving their time — almost all of it — to the cares of this world and human pleasures (the confusion and clutter He spoke of) — unaware. It was as if this type of chaos had become such an IDOL in the lives of some that they literally could no longer hear Father's voice clearly. Just moments later Father began to expound on this further and share what needed to take place for His BELOVED to breakthrough.
As you read what Father said, please keep this simple truth in mind: To move into a higher place in your relationship with the Lord WILL REQUIRE that you elevate your obedience and your prayer life. Praying like you did 10 years ago is not going to cut it. Moving in Him like you did 10 years ago is not going to move Him. When we TRULY GROW in our relationship with Father, more is required of us. Don't expect MORE if the passion and the effort to obtain more, with Holy Spirit guiding the way, does not exist.
THE WORD OF THE LORD
"It is time to go deeper," says the Lord. "You've stood along the shallows of the bank long enough. (Daniel 2:22) Yes, you've asked me to take you deeper, but I say to you today: You have not done what is required of you to be taken into the secret place."
"Can you give up the cares of this world," says the Lord. "Can you lay down what you desire and take up what I desire for you? Come into my bed chamber and commune with me? Can you give me your ears, your eyes, your mouth, your hands, your feet… your mind?"
[MORE INSIGHT: I literally saw people giving their ears to the television, the radio, the voices of men. I saw glimpses of people spending hours upon hours in front of the television set and other distracting devices. I heard people speaking incessantly on the telephone, before others, in meetings and even on their knees in prayer. I saw people going and doing and going and doing some more. Their minds were racing and though they were "talking" to Father, they were literally incapable of listening or hearing Him. They were unable to BE STILL. They were unable to remain silent long enough for Him to come. Immediately, I had this knowing on the inside of me that many — IF THEY COULD HERE — would begin to hear a call for fasting and prayer… one that would break and then destroy the strongholds of distraction that is leading Father's beloved into places of death in their lives and ministries.]
" Surely, I am not hiding from you. I am near… ready… waiting… and open to commune with you," says the Lord. "I will not compete with this world. Your petitions go unanswered because you cannot hear my instructions and follow them. Your petitions go unanswered because you follow your other gods. Will you be still long enough to hear me? Will you set aside time to allow me to renew your mind? Many have waited for me impatiently… and I desire only to spend time with you."
"Am I worthy of your time?" says the Lord. "Is time with me greater than your gods? Here me! I am a jealous God and come answering your questions. PUT AWAY your other Gods… and come to me. Here is your answer." In Jesus Name.
