In her book, “Prophetic Power: A Guide to Operating in the Fullness of the Prophetic with Signs and Wonders,” author A. Shalisa Wright teaches those with prophetic gifts how to reach beyond sporadic or scattered moves of the Spirit into a place of fullness in the Lord in which signs, wonders and miracles are consistent and constant companions in their everyday lives and ministries.
In a few short, simple and well organized chapters, she introduces readers to seven key aspects of the Father’s character that must be cultivated and matured inside the believer, and then ushers them into a place of understanding what it really means to transfer and impart into the lives of others under the anointing.
The seven keys addressed include divine obedience; holiness; deliverance; the support and proof of faith; the power of love; integrity, and the anointing to transfer and impart. These areas are pillars to the walk of every believer. Through them, Wright clearly explains that accessing “Prophetic Power” is rooted in a life that is sold out and separated to service in the Kingdom. She explains that it is a process of death, in which the believer dies to their own will and begins to seek after and move in the will of the Father – exemplifying the ministry of demonstration that Jesus set before us.
Prophetic Power is a quick read and an excellent starting point for study group leaders or individuals seeking to understand foundational truths concerning prophetic ministry. It is a book for this rising generation of prophetic people, and sets a standard in which those who emulate false power through entertainment and charisma will quickly be uncovered as the fruit of their ministry is challenged by those seeking an impartation of Holy Spirit guided truth through God-sent leaders. It serves as a plumb line destined to separate the wheat from the tare in this season, and bring a generation of believers to their knees.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: A. Shalisa Wright is a native of Chicago, IL where she was raised with her loving parents and brother. She gave her life to the Lord at the age of 10 and also began to serve and operate in ministry under the leadership and training under the late Bishop John H. McCall, who laid the foundation for her ministerial work and spiritual gifts to be in operation. Shalisa flows under a prophetic teaching anointing with the gift of laying on of hands and impartation, a strong intercessory prayer ministry and evangelistic anointing.
