About This Word: (5/19/2011)
I drove to the postal box early this morning, just after the sun came up. Normally, I don’t go this early but I was anxious to pick up some books I had ordered on the worship arts. In this one particular book, there’s an impartation that I was expecting, so my soul was thirsty. As I approached my destination, I looked out of my side window and saw a cluster of wildflowers growing in the middle of an awkward construction site. (There are a lot of those in Atlanta.) Somehow, the workers had managed to dig up the entire ground but missed this beautiful, illuminating patch of flowers extending not far from the curb.
Father began speaking to me through this. He said, “Prophet, everything that I have created understands its purpose from the moment that I called it forth. All creation obeys me and follows the path of destiny that I have set except my sons whom I made in my likeness, and whom I have given more than I’ve ever given these flowers. Everything knows its place except my sons.”
He continued to reference “sons” – those of us who have been born of water and of Spirit. Those who have become NEW creations, having the old man pass away. Quickly, I saw people emerging from the depths of a deep ocean in the heavenly realm. From head to toe the silhouette of their forms were drenched in a thin coating that reminded me of vernix caseosa, a filmy substance that covers newborns and protects them as they exit the womb into the world.
This substance, however, was clear and brilliant, like oil. Vernix caseosa protects the infant from water loss; innate immunity or a barrier to bacteria and disease; temperature regulation; skin irritations; and helps the baby exit the womb during natural birth into the world. While the substance didn’t “look like” the coating on infants, it reminded me of it. I was also reminded that this substance is made up primarily of oil that secretes naturally from the infants skin.
As these people emerged from this ocean, they immediately began walking forward in a very focused and deliberate manner. Each one of them had this brilliance or a glow upon them that I could see from the distance. This glow was the very presence of God.
Immediately, Father revealed that this ocean was the womb of Heaven and that this beautiful glow represented His presence. This ocean was the birthing place of those born of water and of Spirit. Again, the covering or film over them represented the anointing — the presence and power of the Lord to announce the good news to the poor; to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim freedom to the captives; to let out into light those bound in the dark; to proclaim the year of favor of Adonai and the day of vengeance; to comfort those who mourn; to release garlands instead of ashes, oil of gladness instead of mourning, a cloak of praise instead of a heavy spirit; and to rebuild the ancient ruins and sites that have long since been destroyed. THIS SUBSTANCE was the oil of the anointing, the oil of GOD’s PRESENCE to fulfill PURPOSE. Their emergence from this ocean, this womb of Heaven was actually the fulfilling of Father’s Word to us: “I am sending you out as sheep among wolves.”
The one thing I noticed was that this “vernix caseosa” like substance did not hit the air (like it does on a newborn) and begin to peel. It retained its original form. In other Words, NOTHING is supposed to be able to penetrate that “new man.”
Like the wildflowers on the side of the road, Father DESIRES that we grow into a people that can stand in the midst of the construction site unchanged, unmovable and determined to fulfill our purpose until that assignment ends. People of God, if a FLOWER can be obedient to its nature, how much more can WE – who are created in the very image of God – follow the divine pattern set before us.
Word of the Lord:
Then the Word of the Lord came to me saying, “Prophet, say to my people, Everything that I have created understand its purpose from the moment that I have called them – except my sons. All creation follows the path of destiny that I have set before them – except my sons whom I made in my likeness. I have given you MORE than I have given the flower! Don’t you know that my Son is coming! I am sending Him soon for a completed church, a purposeful people… and obedient people. Today, consider your purpose! Consider who I have called you to be… and walk it out says the Lord. You are also the living word… spoken before the foundations of the earth… and I have sent you…”
2 Corinthians 2:3 CJB says, “You make it clear that you are a letter from the Messiah placed in our care, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on human hearts.“
Prophetic Insight:
People of God, in this, Father begin showing me that we books. He reminded me of Psalm 139:16 and Hebrews 10:7 which says, “I come in the name of the book that is written for me.” He reminded me of the ever popular scripture verse in Jeremiah 29:11 which speaks of Father’s thoughts and plans for us. You see, we are BOOKS… not just in the realm of the spirit according to 2 Corinthians 2:3, but also in the natural realm.
Don’t you know that HOW YOU LIVE is a continuation of the BOOK OF ACTS BEING WRITTEN. Consider this for a moment. We are STILL walking out what the apostles began in the book of Acts. So being a “letter” written by the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD is far deeper than one’s activities, goings or doings. It speaks to your consecrated life! In other Words, HOW YOU LIVE is the TRUE testimony of your walk with the Lord.
You and I — Sons of God — are literally epistles…
Father said this so clearly to me: “What will the Book of Theresa (the Harvest) speak concerning you?” I began to think of what the impact the lives of Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Peter, James, John, etc. has had on me since I began this walk. I thought about how they were “letters” written by the Spirit of the Lord on HUMAN HEARTS.
Father said to me: “When you leave the presence of those who meet you, can they SEE JESUS’ LOVE FOR MANKIND?” I tell you, I don’t want people to read my epistle and see JUDGMENT like so many others in the scriptures. Father is calling us to a place of PURPOSE in this hour.
People of God, there is a long, lasting and urgent CRY across the land to FULFILL OUR PURPOSE in the earth realm — individually and corporately. Heaven and earth HAS NEED of us. We can nolonger hide behind false identities and masks. If a FLOWER knows how to exist in its majesty and beauty before God, how much MORE should we walk in this type authority having a MIND, WILL & EMOTIONS.
Living and existing in the Lord isn’t MYSTERIOUS. It is a CHOICE that involves praying this simple prayer sincerely, “Not my will Lord, but your will be done in me.” The question of the hour isn’t, “What is my purpose?” so that you can go about being busy and DOING THINGS; but to ask Father teach US TO DIE to our own desires and to PICK UP THE BOOKS that He has written for us in Heaven.
Father doesn’t want the vernix caseosa of the spirit – the oil of His presence – to fall off you! He wants you to remain in the womb of Heaven, inside Christ who sits on the right hand of the Father.
Jeremiah 8:4-8 CJB says, “Say to them, ‘This is what the LORD says: “When men fall down, do they not get up? When a man turns away, does he not return? 5 Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.
6 I have listened attentively, but they do not say what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, saying, “What have I done?” Each pursues his own course like a horse charging into battle. 7 Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the LORD.
8 ” ‘How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?”
Do not allow your PEN (How you live) to swear falsely.” When WE WRITE OUR OWN STORY instead of allowing Father to direct us into the purpose HE DESIGNED we SWEAR FALSE against God. You see, these scribes (teachers of the Word) QUOTED THE WORD but they didn’t live it based on the standards set before them.
People of God, we are being called to be “letters of the law” – not religiously, but living in and out of the love and the will of God, CHOOSING to the narrow gate. Literally, YOU ARE a letter, a book being written… and the fulfillment of your purpose on earth WILL DETERMINE how that letter is read and interpreted.
Don’t be deceived any longer. Failing to walk in the ORDER, the TIMING & FOR THE PURPOSE in which you were intended is DISPLEASING before God…
Father, bring us into places of destiny and purpose in this hour, carrying our portion in obedience, truth and all diligence. Cause us Father to understand that WE ARE LETTERS… still walking out the ACTS of the apostles…
