Prophetic Scribes of the King, there is a reason why the Lord commands some of us to DATE & TIME the messages flowing through our pens and keyboards. I’ve taught on this in the past in mentoring sessions, but I am compelled by the spirit tonight to re-emphasize just HOW IMPORTANT this is in the midst of your SCRIBAL MINISTRY – especially for those scribal prophets and seers who are speaking accurately into their family lineages, specific systems, cultures and nations in this season.
WORD OF THE LORD & INSIGHT
This “reason” is deeply rooted in Deuteronomy 18:21-22 CJB which says, “21 You may be wondering, ‘How are we to know if a word has not been spoken by ADONAI?’ 22 When a prophet speaks in the name of ADONAI, and the prediction does not come true -that is, the word is not fulfilled -then ADONAI did not speak that word. The prophet who said it spoke presumptuously; you have nothing to fear from him.”
We are going to dig into this in the second part of this teaching, but for now let’s lay a foundation.
Father spoke this to me: “Beloved, be diligent in reminding my scribal prophets to continue to press their ears to my lips and to keep their eyes steadily focused on me. I am instructing them in the simplest of ways, yet many are looking for “GREAT” instruction. REMIND THEM, ADMONISH THEM… to be attentive to the “small things” they hear me speak. Truly my adversary is seeking to devour them. He is seeking to blind them from my instruction and guidance like never before. More than ever they must know my voice and follow my commands. Beloved, remind them… that all instructions, even those considered small in the minds of men, are of heavy weight in the realm of the spirit….”
Immediately I was reminded by Father how a number of the biblical prophecies often indicated the date, time of year and the prophet who spoke that Word. In addition, Father began to speak to me about false teachers and prophets as well and how they would deceive even the most wise among us. (Matthew 24:24) It is my prayer that at the end of Part II, you will understand the significance. (We will also teach this in great detail in the School of the Scribe.)
Father told me that THIS YEAR He was “RAISING THE BAR” on HIs Scribal Prophets. What you’ve gotten away with in this LAST SEASON, you ain’t getting away with it in this one. Please understand that this was for me ALSO. I couldn’t teach this to you without first acknowledging how the Lord has had to HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE IN THIS AREA. Keeping Heaven’s records in the earth realm is too important, and SCRIBAL PROPHETS — You’ve been entrusted with that responsibility. LEGACY (in the spiritual lineages you are destined to impact) is too important.
I want to take a short rabbit trail for a second: Scribal Prophets! What you write isn’t always about releasing a CORPORATE Word of the Lord to a local church, a specific group of church leaders, a conference gathering, a specific system or culture. MANY TIMES, Father will release you into personal prophecy to the neighbor next door; a person in the hospital, your children or your family. As we walk through this teaching, you will come to udnerstand WHY this is important on ALL of these levels not just a few. You see, the Word of the Lord to 2,000 people in a conference is just as important as a personal word to a man locked up in a jail cell. In the eyes of God, HIS WORD IS IMPORTANT regardless of how many people are reached. Even Words spoken into the ATMOSPHERE with no VISIBLE PERSON AROUND are significant — and scribal prophets, you must learn the importance of recording those words as well. Bear with me as we walk though this.
Some of you will begin to receive CONSTANT REMINDERS from Holy Spirit to (1) immediately write and record what you see and hear; (2) to time and date the words He releases through you; and (3) to have you sign your names on those words as the vessel who released them – just as He instructed His prophets of old. (IT DOES MATTER WHO FATHER RELEASES TO GIVE A WORD! I’ll teach on this another day.)
In the realm of the Spirit, I began to see Scribal Prophets who had been given these instructions in the past but who, for whatever reason:
- Chose to roll over and drift back to sleep after Father has released a dream to them. They were planning to record it later and never did or forgot some of the most critical parts;
- Decided to record a vision they received from the Lord at a later time, only to end up forgetting critical details when “later” finally came;
- Forgot to record the date and time of that prophetic prayer, dream, vision, personal word (for themselves or others), that prophetic demonstration or even that word to the nations. They somehow became distracted and let these precious treasures of the Lord slip away.
In the midst of losing these treasures that the Lord shared they also lost ANSWERS TO PRAYERS; STRATEGIC DIRECTION AND TIMELY REVELATION; TIMES OF INTIMATE IMPARTATION AND TRAINING BY HOLY SPIRIT; CLARITY AND UNDERSTANDING CONCERNING INSTRUCTIONS AND SO MUCH MORE – for themselves and for others.
Failing to answer the SCRIBAL CALL IN THIS HOUR by those who are hearing it – could be catastrophic to TIMELINE Father is presenting before you in which YOU WILL BE USED to impact nations. OH, I can’t wait to get into the second part of this lesson. This foundation, however, had to be set.
Before you read part II (the conclusion), I want to encourage you to REPENT and then GIVE HOLY SPIRIT PERMISSION to help you (1) stay on task; (2) be obedient to the call to record all that is required of you; and (3) to help you complete all that FATHER ALONE has placed in your hands. Give HOLY SPIRIT PERMISSION to do what He was ordained to do IN YOUR LIFE. Let HIM be your helper.
You see, your obedience to RECORD, DATE & ACKNOWLEDGE what God has spoken through you IS INSTRUMENTAL in DIVIDING the false PROPHET/TEACHER from the true PROPHET/TEACHER of God.
HOW?
Because when that word comes to pass that YOU WROTE – it will serve as a witness that GOD SPOKE THAT WORD on “that specific date, time and by that specific prophet” – long before that situation or circumstance took place. That Word will serve as a WITNESS THAT GOD SPOKE AND FULFILLED HIS PROMISE! It will serve as a witness to GOD’S POWER, AUTHORITY and TRUTH. It will PROVE that your ministry as a prophet has been PROVED through the fire by God himself. And in families, the latter can be instrumental in bringing GENERATIONAL HEALING in families. So many are BUSY RELEASING WORDS TO THE WORLD, but failing to see the value in what the Lord has given FOR THEIR VERY OWN FAMILIES. Prophetic scribes who have dreams and visions about their children and families SHOULD RUSH to record them! Oh, the revelation hidden in this!
People of God, there are things Father has released to me about my children, my children’s children, etc. and I’m not even a grandmother yet. These are promises God spoke over our family that we are waiting to see come to pass by way of PROPHECY! There are also warning and chastisement that I’ve received that I was commanded to record. In doing so, I had prayer points to break through. When he revealed these things I recorded the date, the time and anything else he asked. I saved these notebooks by command. ONE DAY, the Lord said… my grandchildren would read them, and THEY WOULD SEE PROPHETIC WORDS FULFILLED. They would see WARNINGS the Lord sent down…. but most of all THEY WOULD SEE HIS HAND as they weighed this truth: “What WORDS did God speak to my grandmother that came to pass?”
You see, that encounter with the Word of the Lord spoken to me for my family could cause my grandchildren and great-grandchildren to WALK IN BELIEF in God! It could be an instrument to strengthen their faith!
Deuteronomy 4:9-10 CJB says, “9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves diligently as long as you live, so that you won’t forget what you saw with your own eyes, so that these things won’t vanish from your hearts. Rather, make them known to your children and grandchildren – 10 the day you stood before ADONAI your God at Horev, when ADONAI said to me, ‘Gather the people to me, and I will make them hear my very words, so that they will learn to HOLD ME IN AWE as long as they live on earth, and so that they will teach their children.’
God wants to PROVE HIS WORD. He wants to PROVE HIS WORD THROUGH YOU. He DESIRES TO MEMORIALIZE HIS WORD in the hearts of men – so that they will hold him in fear (awe, reverence) for generations. But SCRIBES OF THE KING, this IS ONLY… the beginning. (READ PART II)
