Gal-at-ians 3:24-28 CJB says, “Accordingly, the Torah functioned as a custodian until the Messiah came, so that we might be declared righteous on the ground of trusting and being faithful. But now that the time for this trusting faithfulness has come, we are no longer under a custodian.
“For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness; because as many of you as were immersed into the Messiah have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one.”
What a powerful scripture passage! While we have seen great advancement among the congregation in this country concerning its growing acceptance of women in ministry, there’s still a long road ahead of us.
The principle issue is really not that women are accepted into ministry by a culturally male dominated society or even that they are placed in key ministry positions in varying denominations. The principle issue is that women come to know and embrace their intrinsic value in the Kingdom.
In her book, His Daughter’s Do Prophesy, Marion Clark Ingram grasps hold of and walks out this powerful truth as she encourages the daughters of the Lord to embrace their purpose and destiny. Speaking through a proverbial mother’s wisdom, she reminds us how the Lord used the most unlikely of women in the bible to shift nations through words of prophecy and prophetic demonstration.
In the midst of empowering us, she also shares the “Word of the Lord” concerning our nation, the local church and its leaders as Father has released it to her through a series of essays. In taking this approach, she demonstrates to the reader how clearly Father can release a Word to the nation, to the churches and to His people that is effective; and speaks in authority and power outside of gender. In other words, if you were to read that word at any given moment in time – you wouldn’t be able to tell whether it was spoken by a woman or a man. This truth further proves the foundational truth of Galatians 3:24-28.
As you read, you will quickly conclude that Ingram is also making this solid statement: “The Lord alone decides who He will speak through and work through. It is not coincidental that chooses that vessel. We may not fully know why, but the vessel is and has always been integral to the message being conveyed.” In other words, “Who are we to question the Lord, His ways or even His choices?”
In addition, Ingram ensures that there is plenty of godly wisdom and instruction from the daughters of the Lord to glean from between each page. Those lessons demand that we position ourselves to walk in the character and conduct of Christ – seeking to be souls immersed in integrity, love and without vain motives. There’s a push into living a “delivered” life lined by the literal and revelational truth of the Word.
His Daughters Do Prophesy is a washing of water over those women who are being called to lead the people of God in this hour – especially those with a prophetic voice. For those who are walking hard in their calling, it will strengthen and fortify you as realize that as daughters of the King, we have way more in common than we have in differences. There are massive moments in this book in which spirit meets spirit and Father will confirm that you are on the path He has set for you verses the path of men.
About The Author
Prophetess Marion Clark Ingram has been ministering the prophetic in demonstration and in the Word for well over a quarter of a century. She facilitates a discipleship/mentoring ministry based in Memphis, Tennessee where she encourages and strengthens believers in the work that Father has called them to do. Her view of the body of Christ (the Church) is that it is to be a living and breathing entity (organic), not just an organization. Therefore, all of the members must be enlightened and activated to fulfill the great commission that was set before us in Mark 16:15-18.
