Vision
In a vision, I saw a figure behind bars in a holding cell. The soul of the person was so heavy, they could hardly lift themselves up physically to walk. A type of depression or oppression had overtaken them. They stood on the brink of giving up. The prison bars, however, were not physical – they were over the mind. I could see that this person was hurting deeply as if dying from a loneliness so intense that it physically hurt. Suddenly, this person was engulfed by an all-encompassing hug from a robed figure who I knew to be Christ. Beneath the kabod of this deliberate hug the heaviness was broken. It was then that the Lord released this word.
Word of the Lord
The Spirit of the Lord is saying: Beloved, I want you to know that you are not alone! I am fighting for you in the midst of your secret, internal struggle. I am with you in the hidden place when the tears flow and when your heart aches so much that you believe the pain will consume you. I am with you in the midst of that longing to be held, to be needed and to be loved. I have not forsaken you. I have not forgotten you.
The circumstances that have separated you from your loved ones and caused you to live as an orphan in the natural was not my design for you. The circumstances that placed rejection and abandonment before you was not my design for you. My design is one of acceptance, love and overwhelming adoration. My design is one of worth and comfort. Even now, in the midst of your pain I hold you in the palm of my hand. Will you choose to see me? Will you release your heart to me?
I am not a Father that I should lie or cause my promises concerning you to go unfulfilled. Those promises, beloved, come according to my design. Will you release your heart to me? Did not I PROMISE to set the lonely in families! Did not I PROMISE to be a father to the fatherless, a protector to the widow! Don’t miss me in the pain. Do not wallow in the past. In me alone, your future is bright, full of love and promise. Will you release your heart to me? Will you trust me with your heart? Will you allow me to teach you to believe again? To trust again? To hope again? Am I not LOVE? Am I not peace that surpasses all understanding?
Receive relief from your loneliness today. Let me capture your tears and comfort you by my spirit. Let me restore all that has been stolen. You, beloved, are my treasure and I will never leave or forsake you. Right now, I am rescuing the lonely….

Psalm 68:6 NIV, “God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.”
