Word received by Andrea Renfroe from the Lord concerning scribes for 2016
1. DEATH
You are ok with killing yourself (DEATH) as it pertains to those things that yield no eternal value (i.e. being too busy, working too much, gluttony, not resting, not exercising, not eating right, working your fingers to the bone for selfish ambition, etc..)? Yet, you refuse to submit to the DEATH that begets life and has eternal value, death to your fleshly desires.
You must choose the death I want for you and you must understand that it is not a once and for all choice. You must CONSISTENTLY choose this death in order to CONSISTENTLY experience the life (EFFECT and IMPACT) I’ve purposed!!
2. OBEDIENCE (DO THE WORK) – The creativity God manifests through scribes is so potent that the enemy very often employs the strongman of fear to constantly intimidate and paralyze us. Additionally, our own souls sometimes work against us speaking fearful words to talk us out of moving forward in faith. Consequently, we either don’t start the work we’ve been given to do or we experience false starts with the work (we don’t complete assignments). Father gave me clear and concise word about fear in my life and scribal assignments. However, I believe this is a word that also pertains to scribes across the board as we enter into 2016.
Nehemiah chapter 6 speaks of the enemy’s plot to stifle Nehemiah’s assignment by using fear tactics. However, Nehemiah (while afraid) completed the work. Nehemiah 6:9 states, “For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, and they say to us, DO NOT DO THE WORK. Now therefore, O God, STRENGTHEN MY HANDS.” Holy Bible from the Ancient Eastern Text (emphasis added)
The enemy and your own mind will torment and taunt you to the point of not starting the work or abandoning the work altogether. However, I expect you to call on Me for strength to start and complete the work I’ve given you to do. The outcome of your obedience is not your concern. It’s Mine. Just do the work!
Part II: Constantly analyzing your assignment(s) (from every possible angle) instead of trusting Me will overwhelm and frustrate you and ultimately cause you to move further and further way from obedience. Also, running from the work will not make the work go away. It is still your assignment(s). You will have no peace and you will have no rest until you embrace the call and do the work.
