Leaving the Offended Life

Posted on 04/23/2016 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Today is the day to walk away from the “offended life,” says the Lord. No longer will your heart count every single ought committed against you. I am opening your mind to the reality of my ultimate truth: My son’s sacrifice was enough. As you acknowledge your current state and release this burden to me, I am also turning your fortified heart to a heart of flesh. I am causing you to clearly see as I see. I am causing you to face an ultimate reality: YOU can let go of this. Beloved, you will know, realize and accept that my love has been with you from the beginning. You will know, realize and accept that you have been fiercely loved, fiercely accepted and fiercely protected — even in your gravest hour in me. Now, right now… I am here to release you from the haze, from twisted perceptions. I am here to release you from the thoughts of “they, them, those” standing against you. Will you accept my grace to recover from bitterness? Will you accept my grace to recover from offense? Will you choose to walk out of your stronghold… now? My eternal desire is to dwell with you and give you peace.
