Psalm 19:1-5 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.”
Demonstration is the most powerful ministry exemplified from God’s OWN life and purpose as I see it. It is emulated fully through his own example, the example He passed down through Christ and the hope placed upon His greatest creation – humanity.
In this passage ascribed to King David, we learn that WORDS are not necessary to express the greatness of God. Rather, it is THE ABUNDANT LIFE well-lived. It is the life that is completely fulfilled in CHRIST’S ETERNAL FULLNESS. IT IS the same expectation that is proclaimed in all things HE CREATED AND COUNTED as good (meaning prosperous, purpose fulfilling).
The life DEMONSTRATED according to the pattern of ALL CREATED THINGS is what GIVES VOICE to God’s WORD. It’s not what we SAY… but HOW WE LIVE OUT WHAT “HE SAID.” This is the secret, as I see it, of Psalm 19:1-5. The scriptures says: “Day after day THEY POUR FORTH SPEECH; night after night they reveal knowledge. THEY HAVE NO SPEECH, THEY USE NO WORDS. NO SOUND is heard from them.”
For the believer, this simply means that ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS BEFORE A HOLY GOD! HOW we live in the FULLNESS OF OUR LIVES AS HE HAS GIVEN IT TO US matters most! No wonder the scripture speaks so profoundly about the power of God’s love. IT IS THE DEMONSTRATION OF HIS LOVE THAT HAS BROUGHT US INTO GREATNESS “IN HIM.”
CREATION REMINDS OF THIS TRUTH! Oh it does! All we can do sometimes is BEHOLD THE BEAUTY, BEHOLD THE GLORY of all He created — and we are the most magnificent of all things formed by HIM. What I say…. whay you SAY is not as important as how LIVES ARE LIVED IN PURPOSE… not as man designed it, but as the HOLY ONE did. ALL ELSE “WILL” BURN UP!
All the sun/SON has to do to demonstrate the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE is to fulfill its purpose and SHINE in the seasons ordained for it. All the moon/man has to do is HOLD ITS PLACE in the HEAVENS and reflect the LIGHT of the sun/SON. All a STAR/CREATED THING has to do is hold its NAVIGATIONAL PLACE in Heaven… and allow our eyes to BEHOLD IT. Father, I pray that we become FULL DEMONSTRATIONS of who you created us to be in the earth — with nothing wasted, nothing denied.
Jeremiah 8:7, “Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the LORD.”
