Beloved, I have sought to do a quick work in you. Yet, it has been a slow work because of the hardening of your will, the rebellion of your heart.
You are responding by bringing forth work as if it would please me. It is not, however, the producing of more work that I desire or good deeds or great preaching, teaching that is needed. The greater portion is your turned, obedient and willing heart. It is the key to breaking the control that binds you.
This hostility and resistance toward this area has been the set back. One more prayer will not help… one more fast… is not needed. You are to resist the enemy of your soul- not me.
I AM not the enemy, but the lover of your inner-being. I AM your place of safety and truth.
Surrender your heart AND YOUR WILL. Do it MY WAY… not your way. TAKE THE RISK and watch the obstacles melt as if they were never there.
Ground work in other areas have been laid. It is THIS THING that holds you back because as it is the ONE thing you refuse to do.
Stop looking… searching for alternatives. There is NO OTHER WAY through this but the path ahead.
I long for all of you… and I have stood at the gate and still stand waiting for your complete surrender.
Slow progress is not your portion. This slow work has not been my design.
Let me do a quick work.
Open “your” gate. Let me in. I am with you every single step of the way.
