This is the day in which people will want what is in your hand but not the gift and calling of God that is in your heart. This is the day in which many will rob, rape and steal from flourishing vineyards, but will not sow, commit or walk with the vine dresser in the fields.
I am exposing a greedy and ravenous people in this day, says the Lord! I am revealing their quick flattery, eager responses to good meat and prepared tables, and I am highlighting their GOAT-nature. These people travel from pasture to pasture and rip it dry at the roots… and leave no seeds, no fertile ground… no places of pasture for others.
This is the time, says the Lord, that my sent vine dressers are guarding the fields and the sheep in their pasture like never before. This is the time when many will wonder why the vine dressers have pulled away and brought themselves into closer covenant with the TRUE vine. For those with an ear to hear, the Lord is teaching them how to prune the vine released to them, remove the rotting grapes and extend their fields to those who will carefully graze in it.
This is the season for the vine dresser and the righteous fruit. This is a season of tremendous reaping and the separating of tares. This is the season of the opening of eyes that it is time for a great separation to come “in the heart” of those who have labored for both wheat and tare. And the time of revealing is at hand.
This is a time of recognizing who covenant keepers and covenant breakers in your fields.
Leaders…. rise!
Shepherds…. rise!
Guard your green pastures in a new way this season.
Withdraw your hand… from the field of goats, protect yourself from the wolves and pour into the field of sheep to whom I have sent. Turn from the many who cheer and flatter… toward the few who receive correction and flow in honor. Truly, I am Lord of your field in this season. Amen.
