We live in a time when so many believers are stuck. Many are not aware that they are…. and that is one of the areas that make being “stuck” so difficult to overcome. Stuck, as I define it in this conversation, is spending a lifetime on a familiar racetrack of thinking, doing, existing, and believing without any variation or desire for change.
It is sameness.
It is conformity.
It is doing it the way it has always been done, even IF there is a better way.
It is status quo.
It is religion.
It is the “fixed” mind held up by the iron neck… that can’t imagine someone else could be right or know more or better.
It is being unteachable.
People like to hold the key to “what makes sense to them.” I know I do, but I’ve had to break it often. They go toward what is familiar and believe they are awake… but are, in reality, in a deep, dead spiritual sleep. (Prov 24:30-34, Matt 25:1-36)
Stuck people are closed to exploration, and endless possibilities “outside of their box or pit.” They live life inside the lines… often fearful, suspicious, paranoid, or wary of coloring outside of them.
People who hold SKELETON KEYS are not this way. SKELETON KEYS ARE METAPHORS FOR FREEDOM, CHANGE, THE NEWNESS OF THE LORD EVERY MORNING that destroys sameness, uniformity, cycles… outdated patterns.
The term “skeleton key” simply means a SINGLE KEY has the ability to open many locks, DOORS. For example, some people refuse to explore “the office of the Scribe.” So they hold on to one view of writing prophecy and publishing books.
Those with SKELETON KEYS say, “How could understanding the scribal office ADVANCE my view of writing and publishing.”
Those who are stuck… stubbornly resist the change in thinking, and build all of their “new understanding” around innovations in marketing strategy for writers, new technologies for writing and so forth… never realizing or desiring the depth that the “scribal office” could bring to that place… and the kind of doors it could open. Even more, they believe they are in a new place… but it is not a newness that opens NEW doors.
Skeleton keys…. are without barriers. They are able to take one place of understanding or insight into a “GREATER PLACE OF INSIGHT” not simply repackaging what is already understood.
Supernatural skeleton keys opens the kind of doors that BUILD new places… not just renovate old ones. They can open ANY door… and does not require ANY OTHER KEYS!
We have THAT KIND of access.
Skeleton keys expose THE NEW, THE UNEXPLORED PLACES…. like the SPACE between typewriters of the 60s and texting from phones today.
It’s the difference between the innovation of the Flintstones and that of the Jetsons. Some people keep choosing the Flintstones… even though they had some effectiveness!!!! There is a BETTER way!!!!!
Skeleton keys require childlike exploration and excavation in the supernatural realm as released by Holy Spirit. Without it… THE SKELETON KEY IS HIDDEN!
It requires a willingness to lay down what you know and admit “there could be a better way”…. it requires becoming a “non-expert”…. and willingness to relearn.
We only need ONE skeleton key. ONE!!!
And what is it: A humble, hungry…. teachable spirit! An explorer’s heart.
We already have access.
We already have everything we need for life and godliness.
We already have access to matchless understanding and wisdom.
We are already blessed of the Father.
We already have the MIND of Christ.
What we still need is the willingness to believe it… and the press to walk in it.

Many use this passage for prayer only. Yet, it is more than that in our sonship. It is a revealing of who we are… and the progression of our access.
