In our spiritual walk with the Lord, there are five SURE things that no amount of secrecy, posturing or spiritual gifts can hide. By uncovering these things, we can accept them for what they are and posture ourselves to grow and develop in a healthy manner.
YOU CANNOT HIDE:
1. THE LACK OF UNDERSTANDING CONCERNING GOD’S LOVE AND HIS EXPECTATION FOR US TO DUPLICATE IT. The love of God, as scriptures define its function and likeness, costs absolutely every word, action and vision that flows from the Lord. It is the foundation of the greatest commandments and permeates every effort of the Son and sons. If we are growing in the Spirit, the most significant KIND of growth will always rest on growing in the love/ahavah of God. It is the first witness of THE SON in the earth realm.
SOLUTION
Read every scripture on “how to treat others.” Observe how Christ met sinner and saint – those who needed help, those who were spiritually blind and those who antagonized HIM. In every situation, there was a release of grace… an opportunity that presented itself. We can look at those interactions, the words he released and reflect on how they fit with the greatest two commandments. We can ask Holy Spirit to teach us how to walk out Christ’s love everyday and challenge our heart and soul to listen. Love must grow up in us.
