I love my HOLY imagination!
I believe it is one of the strongest traits I have as a prophetic scribe. The HOLY imagination, as I define it, is that image-creating anointing within us that sees God in absolutely everything without limits that stunt spiritual growth and development.
It is the freedom in you to BUILD CITIES, CHANGE ATMOSPHERES, SET STANDARDS IN YOUR AREA OF INFLUENCE, AND STAND IN THE LORD’S TRUTH WITHOUT FEAR OF PEOPLE.
The Lord’s HOLY IMAGINATION… created the world and everything in it. It gave of shoes and cars and Apple technology.
It gave us medical cures and tiny houses for the homeless. It gave us The Scribal Anointing… and women’s shelters and adoption agencies and…. all that we see… that strengthens humanity and His intention.
We have access to that realm of discovery and implementation assigned to us. The ideas we have are often not just good ideas —- but places in which the Lord opens up “our potential” through vivid expression in our imagination.
For example, I despise sex crimes and the mistreatment of people with disabilities (especially children). Yet, in that place of injustice I ENJOY creating art, blogs, attending/participating in all events and poetry that brings voice and beauty to those areas that expose the injustice, defend the defenseless and wakes up the silent.
Years ago, I was one dimensional in my approach… and without the increasing activation of my Holy imagination. But now, it is opening up more than ever…
Our Holy Imagination allows us to see the world in bright and vibrant colors— breaking away from doing things the way they’ve always been done. The Holy imagination cares nothing for crowds, cliques, uniformity, conformity… and the stuff of “religion” that limits the mind to familiar cycles and patterns.
Holy imagination clings to the mind of Christ that lives and thrives from this profound place. I do not believe we have even begun to touch its depth as prophetic people, prophetic scribes.
Rev 22:1-2 says, “Then the ANGEL SHOWED ME the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him…..”
This scripture may seem out of place here, but there is a revealing it. It is a reminder that although we await the final return of Christ there is a realm of tremendous creativity and exploration before us —- and all roads STILL LEAD to the guaranteed restoration… of which is revealed in our lives as “reconcilers” on earth.
You see, every effort of Sons of God to release the Lord’s heart and mind… always comes back to His intention. This means when we cultivate our Holy Imagination (Phil 4:8)… we move into expanding our efforts to demonstrate the Kingdom through what we produce from that place.
Many people are “dark light” in this hour. They profess good news but teach condemnation. They are unable to tap into “light in the darkness” which is a different place of existing.
They teach, preach and warn of the woes… but lack the guidance, mercy and grace that stand at the door of escape. Childlike, HOLY imagination has the ability to rescue the Son from the “dark light” of religion and bring them into being the salt of the earth, “the LIGHT in the darkness.”
I declare that we will not fear the HOLY IMAGINATION given to us through the mind of Christ!
I declare that we are a generation of RISK TAKERS whose holiness is rooted solely in loving the Lord so much that all we do comes from the place of His covenant love.
I declare that we are not a people who FEAR the power of His grace and mercy, but understand that our very lives are product of God’s imagination gone wild!
I declare that we CREATE AND BUILD THE CITY (OR HELP BUILD THE CITY) we see in our dreams, visions!
And stand as catalysts for a holy, righteous and impactful change in the lives of those we influence.
Change isn’t coming. Change is IN YOU… because Christ is in you, THE HOPE OF GLORY!
I declare that you will IMAGINE… beyond boundaries or limits… and build the vision God has given you NOW… in Jesus Name.
Matt 18:3, “And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven….”
