Fruitless arguments are any positions taken by Sons that do not lead to the indisputable, eternal Kingdom outcome for koinonia that Christ intended. They leave no room for the fulfillment of His vision for the restoration of all men/people. The big picture is lost among a sea of controversies.
Fruitless arguments have no place or position in the new heaven or the new earth. They offer nothing to the Lord’s completed plan of reconciliation that some are moving toward.
Fruitless arguments cannot enter into Christ’s vision of Ahavah or the mantle of His peace that He longs for Sons to clothe themselves in.
The only thing that fruitless conversations and controversies give birth to are factions and divisions, side-choosing, and the burning strife of people that so many among the body still cling to. It is grievous. And the supposedly enlightened among us are the purveyors of the strife… some unaware.
Most of our views, including mine, couldn’t make it behind the veil.
If Christ was alive in us at a perfecting level, I believe more of us would escape the trap of vain and fruitless arguments. Sons would see what “was left” at the cross and catch what “really” came out on the other side…. and was given to us.
We would remember the line in the sand and Christ’s response. We would remember the last words of the thief on the cross and Christ’s response.
We would hold fast to that moment when the murderer of Christians was given a calling… and a second chance. We would see ourselves as we should… and posture our resurrected lives accordingly.
OH GOD… what have we become before you? If all a person does is intentionally incite division and then standby watching people fight and bleed in their own self-righteousness, it can’t be the Lord.
It can’t be His hope, His love, or the faith charged to us.
Christ’s yoke really IS easy. His burden really is light. But that of people? Not so much. People love muzzling the ox, tightening bits to the point of breaking teeth… and placing yokes on people until they literally can’t move. They take joy and pleasure in it.
Fruitless arguments defile a person. They cannot produce anything good to eat (Gal 5:22) – just more bad fruit (Gal 5:19).
No matter how Sons twist their positions, there really is only ONE position that sets His house in order and it is on the other side of the cross. #chamberofthescribe
