I promise. I heard that this morning so clearly in my Spirit just as I woke up. Then Holy Spirit said, "In every place that truth is revealed in you, the lies and false beliefs that have been seeds in your life… DIE!" It doesn't mean I die… it means the LIES, WRONG TEACHINGS, BAD INTEL, FALSE BELIEFS…. and whatever else DIES…..
As I contemplated this statement, I realized that REVELATION is sent to kill lies, negative thought processes, false beliefs, etc. if we are able to apprehend it. And get this, IT RESURRECTS LIFE within us.
These past few days have been UNCOMMON for me as it relates to the revelatory realm. I literally FEEL AS IF I have been resurrected by the revelation that has been downloading in the my Spirit. SEALS HAVE BEEN BREAKING left and right.
Revelation is not just "getting some thing new from the Spirit" as so many seem to purport. It is literally BEING TRANSFORMED IN, THROUGH AND BY the IMPARTATION OF THE REVELATION!
REAL REVELATION… brings forth RESURRECTION — in every epic sense that word represents. That's why the woman at the well could RUN after her 10 minute encounter with Jesus. That's why Peter became the ROCK… because he understood that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the Living God. That's why APOLLOS became a great teacher because he received the REVELATION from Priscilla & Acquila.
Revelation doesn't simply increase understanding… right, IT CHANGES THE SOUL IN AN IRREVOCABLE WAY! And that's apostolic…. not simply prophetic.
May we all embrace death to the old BY REVELATION that brings the new.
I have a new understanding of Matthew 16:17, "And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven."
