Prophetic writers do not simply write messages and publish books.
They become the message!
Prophetic writing is distinctively different from general Christian writing on many levels. This is not a place of being better but having a more refined intention and focus concerning how they hear the Lord.
First, we must grasp that the prophetic is not just about presence.
Rather, it is Holy Spirit revealing the power of God to us in efforts to reconcile His eternal intention.
As such, prophetic messages are released to reveal Christ for the purpose of expanding the Kingdom of God among us.
In our growth and development, our lives are shaped around the message assigned to us. In the same pattern that Christ became the Living Word, each prophetic writer becomes the message released to them.
We become the message!
Christ is the ultimate scribe. He is always writing on our hearts and writing on our minds.
With every stroke of His eternal, blood dipped pen on us, in us and through us becomes an aspect of reconciliation in us, eternal truth.
So many prophetic authors write messages and STOP THERE. They do absolutely nothing with their books, articles, projects, etc. but release them and HOPE people will drop in to read or buy simply because they place an ad on the page or announce their new releases.
The thing is: IT IS NOT THE BOOK OR BLOG ALONE THAT PROPELS THE PROPHETIC WRITER, BUT THE MESSAGE CARRIED IN THE BELLY OF THAT WRITER.
Take time to develop into the expression of God designed for you. Exude passion for your calling. Dig out your grace.
It’s not the BOOK alone that sells for us, but the messenger’s expression of its truths in the earth.
Why write a book if there is no personal investment in the message? Why post article after article after article if there is no desire to cultivate the voice within it? We must see that WE ARE THE VOICE! The book and the blog are just two of the vehicles of release.
Sometimes, we expect too much from the book and not enough from ourselves. Let the message GROW IN YOU! Let it develop outwardly as well. People assigned to the message will find not only the message but the messenger who leads them in their purpose.
Some prophetic writers ARE STUCK – not because of a book marketing campaign – but because they have DONE NOTHING with cultivating what is in them for outward expression.
I know this is a difficult word to hear prophetic scribes. It is, however, released in love.
