1. A new wave of “writing into” history. This release is about “writing textbook quality accounts INTO history.” This isn’t so much about fighting the past as it is clarifying truths of the present and putting in systems, scribal teams and groups that make history that goes untold a priority.
2. Emphasizing the preservation of verifiable artifacts, evidence. We will see a surge in people intentionally preserving documentation from this time. This includes paperwork from employers, correspondence between family, friends, archiving digital church histories, preserving journals, diaries, a resurgence of timelines with images, articles, etc.
This isn’t new, but there will be an understanding, urgency and consciousness present unlike anything our generation has experienced to do this. (Check out, “Five Traits Prophetic Scribes Must Cultivate: Boldness, Trait I)
3. We will see inclusive historical narratives concerning major denominational groups as the COVID-19 stories of their collective experiences are seen through eyewitnesses.
Note, however, that there are multiple groups within these circles that will provide varying perspectives on this in the years to come. No one group will dominate the narrative.
4. We will see extreme efforts in creating stories that break racial barriers among congregational groups emerge and establish during this season. Millennials, Gen Zs & Alphas will play a critical role in this scribal effort “of the church” in years to come.
Their perspective will establish a history-type not seen broadly in the US. The longing to in include and not exclude will be great… and completely led by the Spirit.
5. We will see the apostolic-prophetic history of the congregation written with new voices, fresh eyes as a historical, academic account. Schools and universities WILL SEE these histories emerge, merge and be established as a norm across curriculums in the next decade. Amen.
This is a prophetic word. I fully stand by it… as the Scribal Nation expands globally and The Scribal Anointing takes hold in fresh ways.
What makes it significant for scribes is that “prophetic people” are in key positions to capture and preserve history that shines light on the move of the Spirit for ALL believers in the earth. (Check out this article, Death By Revelation)
Not just certain groups that that take the stage and leave out others not in their cliques and circles. These groups are and will be intentionally inclusive.
Degrees and seminary programs WILL EMBRACE a true diversity —- not just teach about what it is. Great reform is upon seminaries in this country.
