Prophetic People, Have We Forgotten?

Posted on 05/17/202205/17/2022 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Lack of confidence in our gifting, our calling in the Kingdom is more than a self-esteem or a confidence issue upon closer inspection.

It is an issue of unbelief, and an inability to reconcile that God chose you to carry what you have.

It is an inability to reconcile that what you have been given is His and from Him.

It is an inability to see that anything, anyone chosen by Him, and who is given what already belongs to Him… already have His stamp of approval.

We also have His encouragement and confidence THAT WHAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN can be used exactly the way HE INTENDED it to be.

What hinders us is not just about our feelings, emotions and outlooks.

The root is learning to believe God completely and thoroughly.

Everything We Need

It is understanding that what’s in us is not there by accident.

Our role, however, is to cultivate and nurture our belief IN HIM… IN US.

Then, we will begin seeing ourselves differently. We have everything we need for LIFE and GODLINESS.

There are TREASURES in these earthen vessels. Our usefulness is fully IMPRINTED in our DNA… in spite of ourselves.

It’s the genius of God to call us into faith, belief and trust. HOW? WHY? Because it takes the pressure off of us to do anything in our own strength.

Remember

Instead we are placed in the middle of knowing: “He chose me to do this. I didn’t choose myself. He gave me this to do in the earth, I didn’t give this to myself. If HE BELIEVES I can do this, I can believe I can do it.”

Let us remember.
