I have probably frustrated many scribes I have mentored by insisting that they understand the importance of consistency and leaning into the metron God has given them.
But when mentors long to bring out the mastery and the master craftsman in those they lead, they MUST help the mentee identify their LANE, posture themselves to be immersive in those areas and then help them pursue precision.
We have talked about metron or being in your lane a lot here (inside the Scribal Prophets Facebook group). We have also talked about immersion, but precision is our next NECESSARY conversation.
Please understand that staying in one’s measure should not always be taught as a restriction, punishment or course correction as many of us have done in the past. Rather, it’s beauty of becoming a MASTER or obtaining an area of MASTERY in that area of measure should be a divine focus.
The KINGDOM was led by pioneers who understood measure as an opportunity for MASTERY AND PRECISION, not being told where to stand and just how far to go.
Anyone who really walks in mastery will tell you that METRONS AND MEASURE is about breaking one SEAL AFTER THE NEXT in dynamic succession to the point of creating new dimension and new realms within your purpose.
When that truth is understood at the CORE OF US… then there are no limits to where it could take us within our callings.
For example, writing a book about journaling or a fiction book is great. But if you move on to something else without exploring the depths of why you wrote it… there are seals left untapped in your life. PROPHETIC PEOPLE SUFFER GREATLY HERE IN THEIR SCRIBAL REALM! HOW?
They rarely learn to push past the tools or the book sales to tap into THE CALL! The books are tools… not YOUR MINISTRY. WE ARE NOT CALLED TO “A BOOK MINISTRY!”
We are called to people. The reach of a book IS NOT the ministry in and of itself, but the life in Christ built around it.
The BIBLE IS NOT a ministry, but the community created around THIS INFALLIBLE, PERFECTING TOOL IS.…
We keep it alive…
