Dear Father,
I come before you as a prophetic scribe and creative, seeking your guidance and wisdom as I pursue my calling within an understanding of The Scribal Anointing®. I thank you for the gifts and talents you have bestowed upon me, and I pray that I may use them to bring glory to your name and advance your kingdom here on earth.
As I begin this prayer, I am reminded of your words in Jeremiah 29:11, which say, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I am encouraged by this promise, and I trust that you are revealing and fulfilling the purpose for my life that is greater than anything I can imagine. I thank you that you are GOD over my enemies and LORD of all creation. Whom will I fear? Of what will I be afraid?

Father, I pray that you would equip me with the tools and resources I need to fulfill your purpose for my life. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, your Word says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” I pray that you would guide me as I study your Word and reveal to me the specific messages and themes you want me to share through my creative work.
As I pursue my calling, I know that there will be challenges and obstacles along the way, but you are with me. In Isaiah 43:2, you promise that “when we pass through the waters, you will be with us; and when we pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over us. When we walk through the fire, we will not be burned; the flames will not set us ablaze.” I hold onto this promise as I face the difficulties that come with creative work, and I trust that you will protect and guide me through them.
Father, I pray that you would surround me with a community of believers who will support and encourage me as I pursue my calling. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, your Word says, “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” I pray that you would bring people into my life who will help me grow in my faith and inspire me to be a better prophetic scribe and creative.
Lord, I pray for your guidance and protection as I navigate the challenges and temptations that come with creative work. In Proverbs 4:23, your Word says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” I pray that you would help me guard my heart and stay true to the calling you have placed on my life. I also pray that you would help me resist the temptations of pride, jealousy, and comparison, which can be so destructive to creative work.
Father, I also pray that my work as a prophetic scribe and creative would be a reflection of your love and grace. In 1 Peter 4:10-11, your Word says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides so that in all things, God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” I pray that my creative work would bring glory to your name and be a blessing to others. I pray that my words and my art would be a reflection of your truth and your love, and that through them, others may come to know you and experience your grace.
Lord, I pray for your provision and protection as I pursue my calling. In Psalm 121:1-2, your Word says, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” I trust that you are my provider and my protector, and I pray that you would provide for my needs and protect me from harm as I pursue my calling.
Father, I pray for your wisdom and discernment as I make decisions about my creative work. In James 1:5, your Word says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” I pray that you would give me the wisdom and discernment I need to make wise decisions about my work, and that I would always be guided by your truth and your love.
Lord, I pray that you would help me stay focused on you and your kingdom as I pursue my calling. In Matthew 6:33, your Word says, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” I pray that I would always keep your kingdom and your righteousness as my highest priority, and that I would not be distracted by the things of this world.
Father, I pray that you would help me persevere in my creative work, even in the face of difficulties and setbacks. In Galatians 6:9, your Word says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” I pray that you would give me the strength and perseverance I need to continue doing good work, even when it is difficult or discouraging.
Lord, I pray that you would use my creative work to bring healing and hope to those who are hurting. In Isaiah 61:1-3, your Word says, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” I pray that my creative work would be a source of comfort and healing to those who are brokenhearted and that it would bring hope and joy to those who are grieving.
Father, I thank you for The Scribal Anointing® and the vision you have placed on my life, and I pray that I would always be faithful to it. In 1 Corinthians 15:58, your Word says, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” I pray that I would always stand firm in my calling and that I would give myself entirely to the work of the Lord, knowing that my labor is not in vain.
Lord, I ask all these things in the name of your son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and rose again, and who gives me the strength and power to fulfill my calling as a prophetic scribe and creative. I thank you for your love and your grace, and I pray that you would continue to guide and strengthen me as I pursue my calling.
I am reminded of the words of Ephesians 3:20-21, which say, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to HIS power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” I trust in your power and your ability to do more than I can ask or imagine, and I pray that you would continue to work in me and through me to bring glory to your name.
Thank you for hearing my prayer and for your faithfulness in all things. May the peace and blessings of the Lord, and the fullness of The Scribal Anointing overtake me in this season, in Jesus Name.
Amen.
