10 UNIQUE TRUTHS ABOUT CREATIVES WHO ARE ARTISTS AND CREATIVE WRITERS

1. Creatives are "at rest" when they are creating without obligation. If you see them creating a lot, they are probably healing deep within.
2. The command, "Take a break," is for people who WORK not people who create.
3. Communities of creative people never see "better or best." They simply see growth at different stages of exploration and development in various mediums. They understand the process of other creatives and respect it. (Especially true on the spoken word poetry scene.)

We can all learn – not just from the people we choose to learn from, but from everyone and absolutely every situation around us.

My Apostle changed my view of humility through several sit down meetings and a couple of sermons a few short years ago. Before that encounter, I had viewed humility as a lowering of myself… almost to the point of fading into the background like light at sunset.
I thought it meant letting other people shine by dimming my light or even not letting light shine on me. I felt like a humped-back Pharisee – a phrase used in Hebrew culture to describe someone who goes to extremes to “outwardly act humble” for the purpose of being seen. I wrote about them in my book, The Scribal Anointing, in 2007.

I love my HOLY imagination!
I believe it is one of the strongest traits I have as a prophetic scribe. The HOLY imagination, as I define it, is that image-creating anointing within us that sees God in absolutely everything without limits that stunt spiritual growth and development.
It is the freedom in you to BUILD CITIES, CHANGE ATMOSPHERES, SET STANDARDS IN YOUR AREA OF INFLUENCE, AND STAND IN THE LORD’S TRUTH WITHOUT FEAR OF PEOPLE.
