A Piece of Eternity in Our Hearts (2)

Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”
(AMP) “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
Right before verse 11, King Solomon reveals the wisdom of God by sharing with us all of the changes and challenges that we will face as we muddle through this human experience in the earth. He recants many truths here that many of us, in our maturity, are finding to be true every day. Even Jesus reminds us of the times in which we live, and the Apostle Paul recants many times in His letters that “TRIALS” will come… but it is how we finish that matters.

Where are you taking Holy Spirit? (2)
Copyright 2009 Theresa Harvard Johnson Our writing is ministry. It's not a great talent or some cool thing we do with words. When we received Jesus into our hearts — we invited the HOLY SPIRIT into our lives, and gave him PERMISSION to move in and through us. We became AMBASSADORS of Jesus Christ…
