Father, Reveal My Scribal Purpose To Me? (2)

If I were to ask you why you write, what would you say? I’ve heard writers say, “I write because it is who I am and what I do. I just don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t write.” The other answer I’ve heard is; “I write to encourage others and to glorify God.”

While these reasons are spoken from the heart of a scribe, they only scratch the surface of God’s plans for us. We are doing a whole lot more than just writing or even encouraging others. Whenever I am asked that question, now that I know and understand God’s purpose for scribal ministry, I often say: “I write because I must. The book of Acts must continue to be written, and there must be a continuous written witness to the gospel for the generations to come.“

PART II: The Significance of Recording the DATE & TIME in Scribal Ministry (2)

Posted on 02/10/201205/24/2024 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

(I want to encourage you to read PART I of this article: Click here. It covers the foundation and will bring greater understanding to what is written below.)

God wants to PROVE His Word.

The Hebrew meaning of the Word prove is to “test, try or tempt.” In my time with the Lord, I heard the phrase “test by fire” and the word “authenticate.” The process of “proving something” or “authenticating” a thing is one in which something is taken through “tests” to validate whether it is genuine or fake.

I am reminded of how the Lord “PROVES" us, and how He proved Job to his wife and peers; and especially to Satan. I am reminded constantly about how Father says He does things for His name’s sake. In other words, no man or created being CAN EVER call God a liar.

Understanding the Prophetic Writer (2)

Excerpt from The Scribal Anointing: Scribes Instructed in the Kingdom of Heaven

Not every Christian who writes is a prophetic scribe. Not everyone who prophesies is a prophet. Just as there are distinct signs of a prophet, there are also distinct signs that identify a prophetic scribe — and all the signs are available through scriptural study in the Word.

I have met many types of Christian writers over the past decade. Some were people who were inspired to write a particular item or work and then, once that assignment was completed they would never have the desire, inspiration or inclination to write again — at least not at a scribal level (meaning someone walking in the office).

The Ministry of the Scribal Prophet (2)

What is a scribal prophet?
A scribal prophet is a minister of the gospel who is called into the office of a prophet whom Father uses to release and record prophecy (including instruction and administration) on a consistent basis from words received (1) audibly by the Spirit; (2) through dreams and visions; (3) through supernatural experiences and (4) other ways through which the Lord might choose to speak.

The significance here is that the prophet will be pressed and commanded to release these words through the administration of the office of a scribe. It is imperative to understand that this “scribal office” is not simply limited to writing, but all manner of administration and demonstration that is in some way recorded (audio, print, video, etc.) or functions in the ministry of the recorder. These scribes write from their governmental SCRIBAL office in the Kingdom of the Heaven. For in depth understanding, visit the Scribal Store and purchase The Scribal Anointing training manual.
