Posted on 12/11/2011 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Copyright 2009 Theresa Harvard Johnson Here I am, making lunch for my son before the school bus arrives… and the Lord starts talking.. I am not trying to be deep here, but I really wanted to share this with you all… The Father took me back to the scriptures concerning Tower of Babel. (Genesis 11:1-8)…

I know I’m a scribe but… (2)

I, Paul, Write This Greeting in my Own Hand (2)

Posted on 12/10/2011 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Copyright 2009 Theresa Harvard Johnson For years, I've been fascinated with this statement that the Apostle Paul made through various books in the New Testament. Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”

(AMP) “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Right before verse 11, King Solomon reveals the wisdom of God by sharing with us all of the changes and challenges that we will face as we muddle through this human experience in the earth. He recants many truths here that many of us, in our maturity, are finding to be true every day. Even Jesus reminds us of the times in which we live, and the Apostle Paul recants many times in His letters that “TRIALS” will come… but it is how we finish that matters.
