The spirit of King David comes forcefully through the pages of Spiritual Violence: Passionate Prayer Poems written by David Gumlia.  They vividly capture the authors desperation and pursuit of God’s presence and a cry for us to do the same. It is truly prophetic, at least to me, that he shares this patriarchs name.

Like King David, there is an overflow of deep love and affection for God. At the same time, there is a constant, consistent reminder that we are merely human in His presence and that  He is a God to be feared.

This former president understood the impact of poetry upon a man’s consciousness. It’s no surprise that for centuries, societies around the world has valued its existence. Shalisa Wright teaches those with prophetic gifts how to reach beyond sporadic or scattered moves of the Spirit into a place of fullness in the Lord in which signs, wonders and miracles are consistent and constant companions in their everyday lives and ministries.

In a few short, simple and well organized chapters, she introduces readers to seven key aspects of the Father’s character that must be cultivated and matured inside the believer, and then ushers them into a place of understanding what it really means to transfer and impart into the lives of others under the anointing.
