For many of us, this term has become ambiguous especially among the apostolic prophetic community where quite a bit of circus-like activity is let loose. A simple way to define what the anointing is… AND set a standard for judging what it looks like is this: The anointing is the “tangible and recognizable presence of God” operating in and through us to manifest His will in us… in the earth.
Many of God’s people know what it means when a health professional tells us to “know our bodies” or to “watch what your body is trying to tell you.” The concept is simple: We should be so aware or conscious of our physical bodies that we can recognize even the slightest change when it occurs.
I sometimes equate relationships to my Wi-Fi connection in my home office. The connection works wonderfully for a while and then suddenly…. on bad-weather-days or peak times the connection breaks up and then drops.
