I pray for the day when marginalized people in the congregation will "stand against" these self-appointed "prophetic" voices who earnestly believe they speak for the WHOLE church in the United States.

We pick and choose our idols.
Everyone of us!
The battle for righteousness against self is something else. Paul said this in Romans 7:19, “I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway.” He shows us that every SOUL fights against its idols, high places. He reminds us that we must vigorously work out our faith with fear and trembling.

Fruitless arguments are any positions taken by Sons that do not lead to the indisputable, eternal Kingdom outcome for koinonia that Christ intended. They leave no room for the fulfillment of His vision for the restoration of all men/people. The big picture is lost among a sea of controversies.
Fruitless arguments have no place or position in the new heaven or the new earth. They offer nothing to the Lord’s completed plan of reconciliation that some are moving toward.

This generation loves opportunity, connections to climb, outer appearance, cliches and the kind of passion that only rests in the moment – but cannot build houses or sustain them.
It’s seen in the ease of relationship dismissal among pastors and leaders of congregation that co-labor with ministries in one moment and toss them aside the next.
It’s seen when the art of healthy debate becomes sides in boxing rings – each person with their corner-man.
It’s seen in the world of celebrity life where marriages are glorified lust-ships that pass in the night when emotion is gone.
