Murdered Between The Temple & The Altar

Matthew 23 stands out to me, much like Jeremiah 23 & John 10. These chapters have brought me much chastisement along my walk; and also great comfort as I am reminded of just how much Father loves each one of us. It also reminds me of how much it grieves Him to see HIS PEOPLE misuse, mistreat and abuse one another.

It reminds me of the remnant-walk that is taking place in this present move of the spirit: “A walk of greater death to self and to people; and a deeper press into His perfect will no matter the cost to one’s flesh.”

PART II: When Leadership Breaks Confidentiality & Trust

Ma-tth-ew 11:28 CJB, “Come to me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

God promises healing!

Yeah, I know this is cliché… but it is the truth. Every believer who walks this journey will, at some point, either breach trust in the midst of a brother and sister in Christ or become the victim of breached trust. In truth, it’s what happens next that will determine how your particular circumstance plays out.

The question before you now is this: Can you allow God to walk you through it? Can you give up your perceived “right” to be angry and hurt?

There is absolutely no way the Lord is pleased with what has happened to you! Yet, the only way out of it is to determine – before the Lord that YOU will not live in your hurt, disappointment, distrust and brokenness. And as HARD as this may sound, “YOU do not have the right, in the eyes of the Lord, to hold on to the pain, the betrayal. That posture is just as much a sin as the sin done against you.”  (If you haven’t already done so, please read Part I: When Leadership Breaks Confidentiality & Trust)

Knowing The Truth From A Lie

Setting A Foundation

I received a question today from a Believer. The question was simple, “How am I to know the truth (of God) from a lie?”

Before answering it, I want to make this statement: No believer, no matter how holy people may want you to believe they are, is above deception. While we are not to be paranoid, we are to constantly remain on guard against doctrines, practices, idolatry and beliefs that oppose the heart, mind and will of our Father in Heaven. Those who have been walking with the Lord a while as his “elect — meaning chosen” can fall prey to deception just as a “proselyte or a babe” can be deceived.

In other words, it is “possible” for any believer to fall prey to the lies of the enemy — regardless of who they perceive themselves to be; how long they’ve been saved; what they may be doing or where they think they are going at any particular moment in time.

A Piece of Eternity in Our Hearts

Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”

(AMP) “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has planted eternity in men’s hearts and minds [a divinely implanted sense of a purpose working through the ages which nothing under the sun but God alone can satisfy], yet so that men cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Right before verse 11, King Solomon reveals the wisdom of God by sharing with us all of the changes and challenges that we will face as we muddle through this human experience in the earth. He recants many truths here that many of us, in our maturity, are finding to be true every day. Even Jesus reminds us of the times in which we live, and the Apostle Paul recants many times in His letters that “TRIALS” will come… but it is how we finish that matters.
