Part I: Identifying & Releasing Chaotic People

2 Corinthians 12:20 CJB, “For I am afraid of coming and finding you not the way I want you to be, and also of not being found the way you want me to be. I am afraid of finding quarreling and jealousy, anger and rivalry, slander and gossip, arrogance and disorder.”

As a body, we must address a very serious issue among our members – not to shame anyone, but to continue equipping and bringing us all into the unity of the faith. There is a stronghold wreaking havoc among us, and it is literally hidden from the casual eye yet destroying God-appointed relationships daily. That stronghold, as father revealed it to me, is “the spirit of chaos.”

Father, Reveal My Scribal Purpose To Me?

If I were to ask you why you write, what would you say? I’ve heard writers say, “I write because it is who I am and what I do. I just don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t write.” The other answer I’ve heard is; “I write to encourage others and to glorify God.”

While these reasons are spoken from the heart of a scribe, they only scratch the surface of God’s plans for us. We are doing a whole lot more than just writing or even encouraging others. Whenever I am asked that question, now that I know and understand God’s purpose for scribal ministry, I often say: “I write because I must. The book of Acts must continue to be written, and there must be a continuous written witness to the gospel for the generations to come.“

Posted on 12/16/2011 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Nathan “Nations” Allen, a prolific poet and spoken word artist, has announced the release of his new poetry collection, “Expressions from a Contrite Heart.”  In this collection, the Lord has given Nathan words that can touch the wounded soul, bring encouragement to the wounded heart, bring encouragement to hurting hearts, and declare the unadulterated truth…

Don’t Let Your “CAUSE” Become Greater Than God

Posted on 12/16/201112/13/2021 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

I used to worship the gift of poetry Father placed inside me. I also used to worship the ministry of Voices of Christ. Both became so much a part of me as IDOLS — that “doing the business” and “spreading the cause” were way more important than my personal relationship with God or my desire to see His people saved. For a long time,  I was more concerned with people seeing me and getting “this message” I was pushing.

It took some strong, loving correction from a mentor for me to see that I had indeed made my gifts and the ministry entrusted to me — IDOLS. Sons of God, I had to be delivered and set free of this. I had to be “re-introduced” to my “authentic and original” destiny and purpose in Father.

I had to repent and begin a pursuit of HIS PRESENCE — not just HIS HAND through the gifting or HIS BLESSINGS through the ministry.

Beware of the Traveling Salesmen!

Posted on 12/16/2011 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

This post is in NO WAY written to bring offense to those people who are salesmen. As with all levels of employment, there are people who do not walk in integrity. As a prophet, Father often makes analogies based on things I connect with the releasing His Word through me. This is one of…
