Part II: How To Choose A Bible
Discussion from the Scribal Prophets Facebook Group
Most of my friends who are pastors, like I am, lean toward the ENGLISH KJV or the NKJV bible translations. The reasoning behind this is primarily rooted in this truth: Exhaustive study resources, commentaries and historical materials for exegetical study are tied to this version. It has only been in recent years that other “formal” bible translations are developing their own exhaustive concordances, keyword dictionaries and other resources.
Part I: How To Choose A Bible

Discussion from the Scribal Prophets Group
It is for this reason that I believe we do not have “a best Bible” to choose from in this day and time. Why? Well, because we choose Bibles based on our personal “needs”… not just on who says what is best. At different times in our lives, different translations may speak to us. HOW BLESSED WE ARE TODAY BECAUSE… four hundred years ago there was only one choice for most people. Even scarier, the average Joe couldn’t read or obtain one anyway. We are tremendously blessed today, especially in this country.
Guiding Scribes: Platforms Over Ministry
Copyright July 25, 2019
Many “performing” believers are in denial about their spiritual condition. The truth of the Gospel is this: We cannot proclaim “prophetic” ministry ONLY from the perspective of “the gift,” use it for greedy purposes, and then call it ministry.
Yet, this is how so many believers treat God and their creative gifting. They are “hoarding the gift” as it serves them instead of understanding the intention and purpose of the gift.
It is the spirit of this age at work.
It is the confusion of the ideals and ideas of people with the intention of Christ.
Book Marketing: Becoming Your Book
As a prophetic writer, I had to become the message in my book. That’s a principle for us, not an option.
Hebrews 10:7 NKJV says, “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come— In the volume of the book it is written of Me— To do Your will, O God.’”
I know this sounds a bit crazy from a book marketing perspective, but when you consider your calling as “prophetic writers” it makes sense. Jesus BECAME His message, and as prophetic people, we must become the message entrusted to us.
For me, it was the message of the scribe. When I started, no one was talking about the “scribe” as a full-fledged ministry…. and there was no conceptual understanding of The Scribal Anointing®. If awareness was to spread about either one of these areas, I had to do it… even if only the trees and the animals would listen.
