Mature apostles often find themselves confronting mistaken identity in their intimate relationships and ministries, and then realigning those who have been misnamed or operating in a mistaken identity. Encouragement: The Life of An Artisan & a Scribe
I have learned that when you live as a prophetic artisan and scribe, operating in your creative gifts from a pure place consistently and deliberately breaks all kinds of spiritual barriers in your life. Here are a few of the results.
1. It CREATES a meeting place for you and the Lord in the Spirit realm. He draws near to you.
2. It CREATES your personal altar of sacrifice, a place of surrender.
3. It CREATES a personal prophetic “zone” condusive for meditation, contemplation.
How important is discipline in writing?
Response to a question (Feb. 20, 2018):
Discipline in the act of writing is CRITICAL to the life of a prophetic scribe — regardless of the type of scribe you are (administrative, creative or instructional). There’s something about “pen in hand” that activates ALL LEVELS of the scribal anointing. For this reason, I always recommend journaling for scribes — even if its only for five minutes a day. God can take a one line scribble, and turn it into a love letter to him or a powerful encouraging response.

Evil desire can give way to demonic oppression. In our previous discussion, I talked about how men can simply be evil because their hearts are corrupt. But if they remain unrepentent, these “evil desires” can escalate… opening the door to greater evil.
It is for this reason that we, as believers, must be quick to repent, to forgive, to let go of offense, to denounce the fruit of the flesh, to let go of spiritual immaturity, etc. IT IS EASY TO MOVE FROM HAVING AN EVIL THOUGHT OR ENGAGE IN IN EVIL BEHAVIOR DIRECTLY INTO PLACES OF SERIOUS DEMONIC OPPRESSION AND AFFLICTION. God tells us clearly to be ANGRY… but sin not. We have thoughts and emotions that are negative; but we MUST NOT allow those thoughts or emotions to LIVE, thrive or be acted out… even in our scribal ministries.
PART III: The Lying Pen of the Scribe & Spiritual Immaturity
Read Part I & Part II of this series)Copyright 2018 Theresa Harvard Johnson If spiritual immaturity can produce a lying pen… then how should we consider that pen or judge it? Do we treat it like the pen of the false prophet or do we treat it as an opportunity to bring the person into…
