Your Muse or Holy Spirit?

Posted on 12/10/2011 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Copyright 2010 Theresa Harvard Johnson Prophetic people, this isn’t a game. Your scribal ministry is rooted in Matthew 13:52. Father’s original purpose and intent for your scribal ministry is CLEARLY outlined in the scriptures. The Apostolic Prophetic Kingdom we serve is not just any-old thing. It is the KINGDOM OF OUR GOD… the palace of…

INSIGHT BEFORE THE WORD

I am writing this in response to the nation’s outrage over the announcement from the Obama Administration on yesterday. As you read this, please know that this article is addressed to the Christian – the true believer. In truth, an intelligent/intellectual man would miss God in what is written here and turn this message into nothing more than one man’s opinion. I do pray that you are open to hear and to read this message through til the end.

What are your gifts making room for?

I have always had a problem with the interpretation of this scripture by some believers I’ve met over the years:

Proverbs 18:16 NKJV, “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.”

As an Apostle in the Worship Arts, I meet people daily who worship their gifts and sabotage their own purpose and destiny. In context with how this scripture is often used and taught, men are pressed into places of worshiping their “gifts” instead of focusing on the one who released the gifts to them. It brings forth a wrong spirit, one of entitlement. One in which people believe that they are entitled to something simply because they “have or they work” a gift well.

Father said this to me this morning: “I am not shallow that I would base the merit of my Word on the operation of a gift alone. All gifts, beloved, are only attributes of the whole man.” People of God, take a moment this morning to ask yourself this question: “What does Proverbs 18:16 mean to you?”

Top New Year Mistakes Christian Writer’s Make

Have you ever wondered why the promise of a “new year” sends people into a frenzy of making promises or vows? I have and as a result, Father is yet teaching me not to allow the emotion, excitement or promise of a new year mess up today – this exact moment for change that is standing before me NOW. The promise of a new year is completely and exclusively in the hands of Father for the true believer.

This promise does not guarantee anything, except that He will be with us – moving, guiding, directing and pushing us forward every step of the way. It also doesn’t remove those things in one’s life that hindered last year’s progress. Until Father’s given full authority to move on our behalf in every way — including identifying, confessing, repenting and breaking into pieces those hindrances – all those blocks that prevents the author from truly walking in the newness or “promise” of a new season will still be there.

Prophetic writers (and this article is only for you), we cannot afford to take the carnal, fleshly approach to anything. A work released from the apostolic Kingdom of Heaven into the earth must be guided in the earth by the prophetic demonstration of the word through Father to fulfill its assignment. Everything you do in connection with that assignment is critical.

The Significance of Training & Mentorship

Posted on 12/12/201010/13/2022 by Theresa Harvard Johnson

Copyright 2010 Theresa Harvard Johnson The standard definition for “training” in the world today s about “education; the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills; to be shaped or disciplined through training.” While this aspect of training does go forth in a ministry environment, there’s…
