How to Love the Writer & Scribe In Your Life

Do you love the serious writer or scribe in your life? Here are some things you need to know to help them feel loved… and, to umm… protect yourself:

1. Do not take their ink pens, pencils or other writing instruments without asking. Every writing instrument is treasured, and they generally have a box of scrap pens, pencils just for you if asked. They may take the lack of concern for their trade tools as disrespect.

2. Do not write on neatly stacked papers or open paper packages without permission. Paper is not just paper to them. Different papers are for different purposes. A small pack of linen paper is a financial investment. Ask first and you will find out that there is a paper stack just for you amid their precious collection.

How Completing Your FIRST BOOK Will Change Your Life

Your life will never, ever be the same again once you get that first prophetic/apostolic book out of you! Listen, my first book was a collection of poetry. When I published it back in 2002, it was a monumental task as I had NO IDEA what I was doing. And no one around me knew how to help as they had not published either. So, I had the honor of being the first one in my church family at the time to publish a book and the first in my immediate family.

Getting that book in my hand was the catalyst that changed the course of my scribal life! Literally, the dam broke… and I began receiving even more instruction from God on publishing and books. Some who are reading this can clearly identify with this testimony. You already know that that first book can impact you from the inside out… and cause you to completely open your eyes to “new life and new possibilities” in God.

26 Signs of a Prophetic Scribe

Just as there are distinctive signs and characteristics for pastors, apostles, and prophets among the congregation, there are also distinctive signs that identify set apart prophetic scribes or prophetic writers. Those distinctions, when examined individually, may not look like much but when laid out, they unveil layers and layers of The Scribal Anointing operating in the lives of believers. This list is based on more than a decade of walking out my own prophetic scribal ministry faithfully and consistently, and from nurturing and mentoring hundreds of scribes over the years. As I share these, please know that they come from a place of being a “DOER” of the Word in the midst of my scribal assignment, not just a hearer releasing revelation in this area without scribal fruit.

I pray that this list of distinctions or “SIGNS” of a prophetic scribe will bless you! For more insight, consider purchasing “The Scribal Anointing: Scribes Instructed in the Kingdom of Heaven.” If you find yourself moving in at least 15 of these signs, you are probably a prophetic scribe! More Than a WRITER’S Anointing

When we hear the word “scribe” it is immediately associated with the gift of writing. The truth of the matter is that this is a “modern day” interpretation of what the ministry of the scribe is and not an accurate depiction of who we are as scribes, as told through the legacy of scripture.

In the ministry entrusted to me, I teach about the fullness of the ministry of the scribe historically and prophetically – from the Old Covenant to the 21st Century worldview of the congregation. This is why we use the terminology, The Scribal Anointing. You see, God called us SCRIBES, not simply writers. The term “writer” indicates a single function associated with the scribe or it signifies ONLY the function of writing.
